About the scholarship
In memory of Michael Taylor, this award supports a Victoria University of Wellington student conducting conservation research in the Wellington region. The award aims to assist postgraduate students with research costs related to conservation, biodiversity, and restoration ecology.
Entry requirements
Applicants must focus on conservation, biodiversity, and restoration ecology. Students must be enrolled or intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a Masters or PhD programme, with projects taking place in the Wellington region. Preference will be given to students originally from Wellington. Recipients will be selected based on the merit of their application and research project. Preference may be given to students who are already currently enrolled or have their enrollment for the awarding year confirmed.
