About the scholarship
Founded by a bequest from Emily Lilias Johnston in 1931 for the establishment of scholarships in which male and female students should share equally. This scholarship is to assist students in the last year of their first Bachelors degree at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship fund will be awarded equally between male and female students.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled full time in their third year of undergraduate study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must have commenced their studies no more than three years prior to the year of application. Applicants must have completed all of their previous undergraduate study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The 2026 round is intended for female students (applicants must identify as female, including cis-gendered and trans-gendered).
