About the scholarship
This scholarship is available for all subject areas and is aimed at Māori and/or Pacific students wanting to pursue pathways into academic careers. It provides financial support for those enrolling full-time in a doctoral qualification, with the expectation that part or all of their study will be undertaken at a university other than the University of Waikato.
Entry requirements
For applicants of Māori and/or Pacific descent who are NZ Citizens or permanent residents and will be enrolling full-time in a doctoral qualification. Applicants must be planning to undertake part or all of their study at a university other than the University of Waikato.
