About the scholarship
The University of Waikato Māori Doctoral Scholarship supports the aspirations of Māori wanting to study at the doctoral level at the University of Waikato. It provides financial assistance of up to $30,000 per year for up to 36 months, along with coverage for domestic tuition fees and the Student Services Fee.
Entry requirements
When applying for the scholarship, you will have the opportunity to provide commentary in support of your scholarship application, include academic and professional references, and submit updated materials if they have changed since your application to enrol. Applications will be considered in four rounds each year and will require an Offer of Place in order to be considered for a scholarship.
