About the scholarship
The Wilf and Ruth Malcolm Doctoral Scholarship is awarded annually to a student who has been awarded a University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship in the previous year and has the highest GPA and/or is most meritorious. The scholarship provides financial support of up to $4000 per year for a maximum of 36 months, with payments aligned to the awarded University doctoral scholarship.
Entry requirements
From 2025, the scholarship is awarded annually to a student awarded a University of Waikato Doctoral Scholarship in the previous year who has the highest GPA and/or is most meritorious. Please ensure you read the regulations before you commence the application process. Regulations (182 KB)
