About the scholarship

The Kamira Henry (Binga) Haggie Scholarship was established in 1999 by Te Piringa – Faculty of Law (formerly the Waikato Law School) in recognition of kaumatua, Kamira Henry (Binga) Haggie, who passed away in 1997. This scholarship supports students of Māori descent who are pursuing legal studies.

Entry requirements

For students of Māori descent who are eligible for admission and are intending to enrol part or full-time in an LLM or who are currently enrolled in their third year or higher of an LLB(Hons) at Te Piringa – Faculty of Law.
