About the scholarship
The Rhondda Moffitt Endowed Memorial Scholarship in Agricultural Economics is for postgraduate students undertaking research in areas related to Agricultural Economics and policy, or consumer markets in agriculture, horticulture, food, and fibre. This scholarship is named in honour of the late Rhondda Moffitt QSM, a stalwart of Canterbury netball who was awarded the Queen's Service Medal for her valuable service and volunteering. Recipients are expected to benefit from philanthropic support, enabling them to concentrate on their studies and excel in their careers.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled and currently studying in, or have gained entry to, a relevant full-time postgraduate qualification at Lincoln University. Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents. Selection criteria include academic merit, relevance of the field of research to the scholarship, and demonstrated commitment to a career in agriculture, horticulture, food and fibre, and related industries.
