About the scholarship

The O'Sullivan Family Scholarship was established in 2024 to support a Lincoln University student, with a connection to South Canterbury, to study towards an agricultural undergraduate degree. The scholarship aims to assist students enrolled in agricultural degrees, preferably the Bachelor of Land and Property Management degree, which addresses the shortage of rural valuers in New Zealand and opens many doors in the agricultural industry.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be full-time students registered in their 1st or 2nd year of an agricultural undergraduate degree, with a preference to the Bachelor of Land and Property Management degree with a rural valuation focus. Applicants must demonstrate a preference for a career in agriculture and/or rural valuation. Additionally, applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong connection/link to the South Canterbury district, between the Waitaki and the Rangitata rivers.
