About the scholarship
The Rugby and Industry Experience Scholarship was established in 2024 by the Springston Rugby Club and its rural business connections. The scholarship is intended to encourage and reward excellence for students wishing to make a career in the agricultural, horticultural or property management sectors; as well as advancing their rugby playing opportunities.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be entering their first or second year of study towards a relevant qualification at Lincoln University. Evidence of and/or planned activity to support the New Zealand dairy, sheep and beef, cropping, horticulture and building/property industries. Ability to make a positive performance impact at the Division 1 Country Rugby Competition.
