About the scholarship
This scholarship provides opportunities for music teachers or music teachers in training to engage in study, research or practical work in music. The Marion Rayward Memorial Scholarship in Music arises from a fund established to commemorate the lively interest and contribution to music of Marion Rayward; teacher, student, music adviser, Teachers' College lecturer.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be intending to undertake research at Masters or PhD level. Honours level applicants may be considered. Applicants must be intending to undertake research in the field of Music Education at the New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University of Wellington.
