About the scholarship
The Kahui Legal Excellence Scholarship is funded by Kahui Legal and Taihonoa to encourage and financially support the successful pursuit of tertiary qualifications and leadership development for Kahui Legal. This scholarship offsets the costs of fees or other course-related costs for a student who has proven academic excellence in their first year.
Entry requirements
Applicants need to whakapapa as Māori. Applicants need to be an enrolled full-time student of Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in te reo Māori, tikanga Māori or papers that are inclusive of a mātauranga Māori world view.
