About the scholarship
This scholarship is a memorial to the late John Fitzgerald, a graduate of the Victoria University of Wellington School of Architecture. It supports studies, research, projects, exhibitions, or other similar activities relating to the completion of undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in architecture. The scholarship is intended for students who are in their fourth year of study or higher, including Masters and PhD students, and encourages innovative projects that further architectural knowledge.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be in their fourth year of study or higher in architecture. Undergraduate students must have successfully completed all third-year core papers or have equivalent credit or experience and intend to study at postgraduate level at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered. Applicants must submit a personal statement that includes information on their intended research or project that aims to further architecture knowledge, techniques or development.
