About the scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 with a generous donation from Jan Heine towards furthering her lifelong work in environment and earth sciences. This scholarship is to support postgraduate students (PhD and Master's level) in their research in biodiversity and restoration ecology. It is open to students who are enrolled or intending to enrol in any PhD or Master's degree programme in the Faculty of Science at Victoria University of Wellington, undertaking research in any aspect of biodiversity and restoration ecology, including the use of novel technologies.
Entry requirements
Students must be enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time, in a Masters or PhD programme in the Faculty of Science at Victoria University of Wellington, undertaking research in any aspect of biodiversity and restoration ecology, including the use of novel technologies. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
