Ivanie Down Joslin Classics Scholarship

Applicants must be currently enrolled at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington as a full time student. Applicants must be majoring in Classical Studies, Latin or Greek. Applicants must be intending to enrol in 300 level or towards a Bachelor of Honours. Applicants are chosen on the basis of academic merit and their passion for the subject. Financial hardship may be considered as a secondary consideration when choosing a recipient. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered. Applicants should submit a personal statement detailing their passion and enthusiasm for Classics, and outlining the impact that the scholarship will have on them. Applicants intending to enrol in an Honours degree should provide an overview of their proposed thesis. Complete the Financial Information section in the application.
