About the scholarship
The Quentin-Baxter Memorial Scholarship fund provides monetary assistance to students undertaking or proposing to undertake study or research in the Faculty of Law at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. This scholarship recognizes and encourages academic merit and also has discretionary funds for financial hardship. Recipients will receive $1,500 in their first year and $1,000 in their second and third years, provided they achieve satisfactory academic progress.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in one or more second year law courses at VUW and intend to complete their LLB at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
