About the scholarship
This scholarship has been established at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington through a bequest made by Ariadne Danilow. It encourages students to continue their studies at Honours or Masters level in French, German, Spanish or Italian. The scholarship is awarded on academic merit and may be held for up to four years, provided the recipient continues in the course of study.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents only. Applicants must be current 300-level students of French, German, Spanish or Italian who intend to enrol in one of the above at Honours level the following year; students of French, German, Spanish or Italian who are in their Honours year and intend to enrol in a Masters programme for one of the above in the following year. Students intending to enrol in Master of Intercultural Communication and Applied Translation (MICAT) are eligible to apply, however preference will be given to students undertaking a MA by thesis in either French, German, Spanish or Italian.
