About the scholarship
This Scholarship is to support young Māori women studying at Wellington School of Business and Government. Established in 2024 and funded by Melanie Smith, Ngapuhi, who lives in London and works as a CEO. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support young Māori women studying business at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
Entry requirements
- Applicants must be of Māori descent.
- Applicants must identify as female.
- Applicants must be enrolled, or enrolling, full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at Wellington School of Business and Government in the year of application.
- Grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00 is required for Scholarship consideration (see Note I).
