About the scholarship
This scholarship, established in memory of Jean Margaretta Rhoda Morgan and Peter Warmsley Sedgwick, supports students enrolled or intending to enroll in a Master of Criminology or a PhD in Criminology at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. It aims to assist those facing financial hardship.
Entry requirements
Open to graduates of any university in New Zealand or of the University of the South Pacific, who are enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time in a Master of Criminology (MCrim) or a PhD in Criminology at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. A recipient must normally be enrolled in such a programme by 31 March in the year following application. If unable to enrol by the deadline, permission must be sought from the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Financial hardship may also be considered.
