About the scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2014 by the Anstiss-Garland Charitable Trust to support postgraduate students studying social justice in areas relating to rehabilitation and restorative justice. The Trust was established following the death of Diana Anstiss in 2012, who had a professional career in the Prison Service and a passion for helping those in need.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be full-time postgraduate students at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents, studying in areas related to social justice. Students holding a full three-year PhD scholarship are not eligible to apply.
