About the scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2014 by the Anstiss-Garland Charitable Trust to support postgraduate students studying social justice in areas relating to rehabilitation and restorative justice. The Trust was founded in memory of Diana Anstiss, who had a career in the Prison Service and was dedicated to helping those in need.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be full-time postgraduate students at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents, studying in areas related to social justice. Students holding a full three-year PhD scholarship are not eligible to apply.
