About the scholarship
The Dan F Jones Scholarship in Science was established through the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation in 1998 by a bequest from Dan Fletcher Jones, who retained an active and enquiring interest in science and mathematics. This scholarship provides financial support for students facing financial hardship while pursuing their studies in science and engineering.
Entry requirements
Current students at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington enrolled in an Honours degree at 400-level in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Biological Sciences, School of Chemical and Physical Sciences, School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences, or majoring in Computer Science at honours level in the School of Engineering and Computer Science. Applicants must complete the Financial Information section of the application.
