About the scholarship
This scholarship has been funded by Initiatives of Change New Zealand in memory of Glenys Wood, who was a lifelong supporter and full-time worker for Initiatives of Change and who introduced the international Creators of Peace programme to New Zealand. The scholarship supports emerging change makers in their studies related to Peace Building, Trust Building, Conflict Resolution, and Ethical Leadership.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be undertaking study in areas related to Peace Building or Peace Studies, Trust Building, Conflict Resolution, addressing Historical Injustice, Restorative Justice, Social Cohesion, Community building and promoting cross-cultural understanding, Change Making or Ethical Leadership. Applicants must be enrolled, or intending to enrol part-time or full time, in an Honours or Master's degree at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be either New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents.
