About the scholarship
This scholarship was established through a bequest from the late George Trachy Pirouet who graduated from Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington, with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English, Greek and History in 1963. This scholarship is to support students who undertake postgraduate study in Latin American studies, in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
Entry requirements
Applicants for this scholarship must be enrolled, or be intending to enrol full-time, in a Master's by thesis or PhD in a topic in Latin American studies at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. Selection will be based on academic merit. A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
