About the scholarship
The scholarship is to support a Ngāti Tūwharetoa postgraduate student at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington studying in any of the four categories listed under eligibility which align to the Pou identified in the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Boards Mahere Rautaki 2021-2026. The four categories for consideration are: Pou Taiao, Pou Tikanga, Pou Tangata, and Pou Tātāwhai. This scholarship is co-funded with Victoria University of Wellington to support Ngāti Tūwharetoa participation and success at the University.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be: enrolled fulltime at Victoria University of Wellington towards a postgraduate qualification; studying in one of the following areas: Commerce, Education, Engineering, Environmental Science, Health, Law or Te Reo Māori; registered with the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board.
