About the scholarship
The Trimble Karahipi Hangarau / Technology Scholarship supports students facing financial hardship and recognizes those who have shown outstanding academic excellence. It is aimed at students studying an undergraduate degree in Design Innovation, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Design Technology, Electric & Computer System Engineering, or Software Engineering. The scholarship also offers mentorship support and the possibility of an internship at one of Trimble's New Zealand office locations.
Entry requirements
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolling in either their penultimate or final year of study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in a programme accredited in one of the specified subject areas. Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Resident Visa holders. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
