About the scholarship
This research grant has been established in memory of Rosemary Barrington by her family. It aims to advance the cause of social justice in New Zealand and to allow funding for research that may otherwise not be possible. Rosemary Barrington's association with Victoria University of Wellington spanned nearly five decades, during which she was an active campaigner for equality for women and human rights.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be undertaking Honours, Masters or PhD in any disciplines at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in the year of award. In line with the donor's wishes, preference will be given to female applicants. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
