About the scholarship
This scholarship is funded by Women in Data Science New Zealand. The purpose of the scholarship is to promote women pursuing a career in Data Science. It is also an investment towards local talent to provide female students in Data Science with financial support to continue their study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled in 2026 at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington in one of the following programmes: * An undergraduate programme majoring in Data Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Science; or * A postgraduate programme (coursework only, excluding thesis) in Data Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Master of Professional Business Analysis. Open to domestic and international students. The applicants are expected to have commitment to working in the Data Science profession, a good academic record, good communication skills and a clear vision of what they can achieve with Data Science.
