About the scholarship
This scholarship was established in 1980 by the former Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Rt. Hon. Sir John Marshall, GBE, CH, BA, LLM, Hon. LLD, to encourage the study of Political Science at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The Scholarship was extended to include International Relations. Applicants must have completed 100 level POLS or INTP at the time they complete the application and must be enrolled in 200 level POLS or INTP courses at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington before the scholarship is paid. The recipient will be inscribed on the Honours Board and must write a letter of appreciation to the donor's family.
Entry requirements
Applicants must have completed 100 level POLS or INTP at the time they complete the application. Applicants must be enrolled in 200 level POLS or INTP courses at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington before the scholarship is paid. Applicants will be assessed on academic merit and must be intending to major in Political Science or International Relations.
