About the scholarship
Established through funding from The Zoological Society of San Diego, these awards look to support two students studying towards a Bachelor of Science. The scholarship will be put towards tuition fees. In collaboration, Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui and Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington look to support the next generation of scientists through the Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui Science Award, funded by The Zoological Society of San Diego. Two scholarships will be awarded annually.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be of Māori descent, a registered member of Te Ātiawa o Te Waka-a-Māui, and studying towards a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Hons) at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
