About the scholarship
The scholarship is to assist in the education and training of postgraduate classical pianists studying at Te Kōkī the New Zealand School of Music, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. This scholarship was established in 2023 through a bequest from David Philps Eade to assist classical pianists studying at Te Kōkī the New Zealand School of Music, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. Recipients must provide a web link to a recent performance (less than 6 months old) to include 30-40 minutes of programme of various styles and are expected to perform in a concert honouring the memory of David P Eade.
Entry requirements
This scholarship will be open to classical piano students who are graduates of Te Kōkī the New Zealand School of Music. Applicants must be classical piano graduates entering postgraduate studies at the New Zealand School of Music. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
