About the scholarship
The LIC Patrick Shannon Scholarship Programme aims to ensure a pool of suitably qualified quantitative geneticists, bio-informaticians, and animal scientists for the future of LIC and the New Zealand dairy industry. The scholarship encourages Honours and Masters students in mathematics, statistics, and bio-informatics to pursue higher degrees with an emphasis on genetics or related animal science fields.
