About the scholarship
The Rakaia Island Scholarship aims to assist and recognise students at Lincoln University with a passion for agriculture. Rakaia Island Ltd is a large-scale family-owned dairy farm near Southbridge, mid-Canterbury. Converted from bare land in 1994, the property has been extensively developed and now comprises 4 dairy sheds and a dairy support unit over a total area of 1800ha. Rakaia Island is pleased to offer an annual scholarship to a promising student at Lincoln University.
