About the scholarship

This scholarship is offered to students who presently reside in the Taranaki Province and wish to pursue a programme of study that will be useful for their farming pursuits. The scholarship is managed by Public Trust, which administers the estate of Doris Elizabeth Geraldine Swadling, established to provide scholarships for students in Taranaki who wish to become farmers.

Entry requirements

Applicants should be studying agriculture and plan to undertake a career in farming. Applicants should be presently permanently living within the region administered by the Taranaki Regional Council including New Plymouth, Hawera, Waitara, Stratford, Inglewood, Eltham, Opunake, Patea at the time of submitting the application.
