About the scholarship
The Māori Education Trust was set up to encourage Māori into tertiary education and this was achieved through the payment of grants and scholarships. For more information visit the Māori Education Trust website.
Entry requirements
Available to Māori undergraduates studying at a recognised NZ tertiary institute. Priority given to academic merit. The award is valued at $5,000. Available to Māori graduates with a record of academic excellence and the proven ability to complete postgraduate studies in either New Zealand or overseas.
