About the scholarship
The Māori Education Trust was set up to encourage Māori into tertiary education and this was achieved through the payment of grants and scholarships. The scholarships available include the Ti Maru Maori Trust Scholarship, valued at $5,000, for Māori undergraduates studying at a recognised NZ tertiary institute, with priority given to academic merit. Additionally, the Ti Maru Maori Trust Prestigious Scholarship is available for Māori graduates with a record of academic excellence and the proven ability to complete postgraduate studies in either New Zealand or overseas.
Entry requirements
Available to Māori undergraduates studying at a recognised NZ tertiary institute. Priority given to academic merit. For Māori Graduates with a record of academic excellence and the proven ability to complete postgraduate studies in either New Zealand or overseas.
