About the scholarship
Burnside High School offers up to three scholarships each year to International Students enrolling with the school for their first year. A fourth Principal’s Discretionary Scholarship may be available in exceptional circumstances.

Burnside High School offers up to three scholarships each year to International Students enrolling with the school for their first year. A fourth Principal's Discretionary Scholarship may be available in exceptional circumstances. These scholarships are awarded in the following areas:
Academic Excellence
Sporting Excellence
Excellence in the Creative and Performing Arts (Art, Music, Drama or Dance)
Entry requirements
$1,500 will be awarded to full year fee paying international students who have applied for admission to Burnside High School by November 1st in the year prior to the first year of enrolment. Applicants cannot be citizens of New Zealand or Australia or have a parent who has a working visa in New Zealand or is intending to apply for one. All scholarship winners must provide evidence of proficiency in English.
