About the scholarship

The Scholarship is awarded to those demonstrating academic excellence in previous study and a commitment to excelling in further study to continue their learning and have an impact in their organisation, communities and industries. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to attract new international students of high calibre to enrol in the Master’s degree programmes at academyEX. A scholarship of up to NZ$11,000 towards the tuition fees will be awarded to two international students to study a programme onshore in New Zealand.

How to apply?


The applicant has to complete the Scholarship Application Form before the scholarship closing dates for different intakes in 2024. The complete form can be submitted together with the course application or the applicant can email the form (and supporting documents) to [email protected] after submitting the course application.


The supporting documents include:


  • Academic Transcripts (translated to English if originally in another language)
  • English Proficiency Test results (where available)
  • Any awards, prizes or other documentation that shows you achievements

  • Round 1: 30 October 2023 (for January and March 2024 intakes)
  • Round 2: 17 February 2024 (for July 2024 intakes)
  • Round 3: 1 June 2024 (for October 2024 intakes)


Result announcement dates:


  • Round 1: 17 November 2023
  • Round 2: 28 February 2024
  • Round 3: 15 June 2024


Entry requirements

Entry requirements for academyEX's Master's degree programmes:

A recognised bachelor's degree or Level 7 graduate diploma (or higher) AND a minimum of two years relevant industry experience;

OR

At least 5 years professional experience in a relevant industry or community demonstrating through evidence equivalence or higher to the qualification stated above.

AND

English Language Requirements: Evidence of an academic qualification at level 7 or above, completed in a country where English is the main language; or IELTS academic band score of 6.5 (overall), with no individual band less than 6.0 or equivalent.
