About the scholarship
The Riddet Institute Summer Scholarships support students who wish to undertake supervised research over the summer period. The project will be aligned to an existing research programme in the Riddet Institute, and a project will be set by the supervisor and take into account your skill set. The tenure will be for a period of 12 weeks (including a 2-week break over Christmas/New Year) from 23 November 2026 till 12 February 2027, unless otherwise negotiated between the successful applicant and their supervisor. The tenure of the scholarship will terminate before the start of Semester One of 2026.
Entry requirements
We're looking for candidates who are interested in undertaking research over the summer semester in food or related disciplines. You will be willing to be based in the Manawatu over the summer period to undertake your research. Include the following with your application: * your CV * a brief (max 300 words) supporting statement on your interest in food/nutrition research.
