About the scholarship
The Pacific Science and Technology Scholarships support new Pacific students entering tertiary study for the first time. The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per year for up to four years; a total of $20,000 across the recipients' time at Massey. It is aimed at Pacific Peoples enrolling in their first year of undergraduate studies at Massey University in applied sciences and technology. The scholarship also includes leadership development, internships, and mentoring opportunities.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Pacific descent. Full-time study is required. Include the following with your application: a character reference supporting your participation in community service and commitment to community engagement (for example, church, sports, or local community); a statement from you on how this scholarship would help you successfully complete your study at Massey; transcripts for any study completed to date. If you are studying NCEA please attach your School results Summary from the NZQA website at NZQA.
