About the scholarship
For New Zealand undergraduate students studying at any tertiary institution in New Zealand. The scholarship aims to support the study of Japanese language. Established in March 1995 by an endowment from the Nippon Foundation to Massey University, the Sasakawa Fellowship Fund for Japanese language education fosters Japanese language in New Zealand through the training of Japanese language teachers and the provision of fellowships to students pursuing Japanese related studies.
Entry requirements
You must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, enrolled in or eligible to enrol in an undergraduate degree in Japanese language, and able to demonstrate evidence of leadership.
