About the scholarship
For a fourth-year student who wants to work mainly in the equine industry. You will be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on veterinary science. The scholarship is awarded by The NZ Equine Research Foundation, a registered Charitable Trust.
Entry requirements
You must be: studying full-time; studying in a specific subject area; in the fourth of your degree; a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. Include the following with your application: a short essay (no more than 500 words) on why you want to work in the equine industry and why you deserve to be awarded this scholarship; a detailed budget demonstrating financial need and how you would utilise the scholarship; your CV; a written reference from a practitioner (experienced in equine practice) who you have worked with in the last two years; the name and addresses of two other referees with current knowledge of your activities. One of these referees should be an academic staff member in the BVSc course.
