About the scholarship
This bursary arises from a bequest to Massey University by Dr William Broughton, who was an academic staff member in the Department of English from 1963 to 2004. The bursary is for undergraduate or postgraduate students enrolled in a New Zealand literature course in the year of or the year prior to the award. We're looking for someone with success in English or expressive arts who would benefit from financial assistance.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in a New Zealand literature course and demonstrate high achievement in English or expressive arts. A personal statement outlining academic achievements and financial need is required.
