About the scholarship
The Bootten Bequest Bursaries are designed to assist students facing financial hardship. This scholarship is available for New Zealand citizens or permanent residents who are studying their first undergraduate degree. The funds were endowed to Massey University from the estate of the late Mrs. C Bootten, aimed at providing financial assistance to help students complete their studies.
Entry requirements
You must:
- be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- be studying full time
- be enrolled in your first undergraduate degree
Include the following with your application:
- a personal statement illustrating your financial hardship
- a budget outlining your annual expenses and any predicted earnings, including other scholarships or bursaries
- a character reference
