About the scholarship
The Bootten Bequest Bursaries provide financial assistance for students facing financial hardship. These bursaries were endowed to Massey University from the estate of the late Mrs. C Bootten, aimed at helping students complete their studies. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents studying their first undergraduate degree.
Entry requirements
You must:
- be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
- be studying full time
- be enrolled in your first undergraduate degree
Include the following with your application:
- a personal statement illustrating your financial hardship
- a budget outlining your annual expenses and any predicted earnings, including other scholarships or bursaries
- a character reference
