About the scholarship

Te Rau Puawai aims to increase professionalism in the Māori mental health workforce. It supports Massey University students who are studying towards a qualification in this field. The programme provides contributions to cover fees and travel costs, academic mentorship, individual learning support, and access to Māori community networks.

Entry requirements

Students must be enrolled in a qualification related to Māori mental health, such as psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, social work, social policy, Māori health, Māori studies, or health science.
