About the scholarship

For candidates undertaking postgraduate research on a topic related to New Zealand's involvement in and experiences of the First World War. The Centenary History Project (CHP) of New Zealand and the First World War is a partnership between Massey University, the New Zealand Defence Force and the Ministry for Culture and Heritage. It aims to produce definitive histories of New Zealand experiences during one of the deadliest conflicts in world history.

Entry requirements

You must be: studying full-time; a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident; undertaking a 120 credit research course with a focus on a topic related to New Zealand's involvement in and experiences of the First World War. Include the following with your application: your CV; a two-page draft research proposal; a personal statement on your study and career aspirations and why obtaining this scholarship will help your goals.
