About the scholarship
The QEII Athol Patterson Bursary is for a student interested in sustainable farming practices or sustainability issues in agriculture. You will be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on agriculture or environmental management. Established in 2009 from a bequest to the QEII National Trust from Dr. Athol Patterson, this bursary supports students at Massey University who are passionate about sustainable farming.
Entry requirements
You must have completed the first year of your undergraduate degree and be studying in a specific subject area. Include the following with your application: a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award. You should demonstrate an interest in sustainable farming practices/sustainability issues in agriculture, also familiarity of the work of the QEII National Trust and outline any connections you have had with land protected by this Trust. A copy of your Massey University transcripts/current enrolment. You can download your Study History Report from the Student Portal, under ‘Results and Exams’.
