About the scholarship
The Thornton Memorial Dairy Bursary is for students enrolled in a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Bachelor of Animal Science, or Bachelor of Agribusiness, who have completed their first year of the degree. This bursary was established from a donation in 1931 from the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association in memory of Mr A. A. Thornton, who was instrumental in improving the quality of dairy factories.
Entry requirements
You must be studying full-time, enrolled in the second or third year of your degree, and provide a statement on how receiving this scholarship would benefit you and your study, outlining your career goals and connection to the dairy industry. Include a copy of your Massey University transcripts/current enrolment. You can download your Study History Report from the Student Portal, under ‘Results and Exams’.
