About the scholarship
This bursary was established from a donation in 1931 from the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association in memory of Mr A. A. Thornton. Mr Thornton was instrumental in improving the quality of dairy factories. The Thornton Memorial Dairy Bursary is for a student enrolled in a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Bachelor of Animal Science, or Bachelor of Agribusiness, and who have completed their first year of the degree.
Entry requirements
You must be studying full-time, studying in a specific subject area, and enrolled in the second or third year of your degree. Include the following with your application: a statement on how receiving this scholarship would be of benefit to you and your study, and how you believe you meet the intentions of this award. You should outline your career goals and interest in or connection to the dairy industry. A copy of your Massey University transcripts/current enrolment.
