About the scholarship
The Hamza Mustafa Memorial Bursary is for Bachelor of Veterinary Science students who are experiencing financial need. Established in memory of Hamza Mustafa, who aspired to study veterinary science, this bursary aims to support students who value inclusivity in the veterinary profession.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science program. Include a personal statement of no more than 300 words outlining your financial need and how you would use these funds should you be successful, any appropriate supporting evidence of your current financial hardship (optional), and a 500 to 1000-word essay on the importance of inclusivity in the veterinary profession.
