About the scholarship
The Bailey Bequest Bursary is designed for postgraduate students facing financial hardship, sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances. Established from funds provided by the late Walter Henry Bailey, a retired farmer from Wellington, these bursaries aim to support students in need.
Entry requirements
You must be supported by a supervisor, head of department or other academic mentor who is familiar with your circumstances. Include the following with your application: * a supporting statement from your supervisor, head of department or other academic mentor who is familiar with your circumstances * a personal statement illustrating your financial hardship. Please include as much information as possible to highlight your need, including incoming funds and outgoing expenses.
