About the scholarship
The Charles Elgar Scholarship is for someone who wants to study agriculture or horticulture at postgraduate level and is domiciled in New Zealand, preferably from the Wairarapa area. This scholarship was established under the terms of the will of Ella Grace Elgar and is named for her husband, who farmed at Fernside near Featherston.
