About the scholarship
For a second-year student enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on agriculture. This scholarship was established in memory of Charles William Robert Smith, who graduated from Massey Agricultural College in 1931 and spent his life farming near Whanganui. The scholarship aims to support students who have demonstrated high achievement and a strong work ethic in the agriculture sector.

You must be an enrolled Massey University student, studying in a specific subject area, able to demonstrate activity to support this industry as outlined in this award's regulations, and not be the recipient of any other major scholarships in the same year as this scholarship.
