About the scholarship
New Zealand offers scholarships to eligible citizens from developing countries studying full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification at a New Zealand education institution or university or at a Pacific university. The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship is funded through the New Zealand Aid Programme and is administered by Education New Zealand (ENZ), in partnership with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT). The purpose of the scholarship is to provide recipients with academic study to learn new skills and acquire knowledge to assist in the social and economic development of their country when they return home. With a full Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship, scholars receive comprehensive financial support including full tuition fees, a living allowance, an establishment allowance, medical insurance, tutoring costs, travel expenses, and a reintegration allowance.
Entry requirements
Eligibility restrictions: International students from Pacific and ASEAN countries only. Full-time study. Study on campus in New Zealand only. More information on the application process can be found on the Education New Zealand website.
